They say blondes have more fun. I completely agree with them! When the folks from A Little Passion asked me to write my own advice column, how could I resist?

While I do not have a degree in medicine or psychology, I'm not just another pretty face. I'm happy to answer your questions based on my experience. And my life has been full of experiences!

But it wasn't always this way. I'd like to share with you how things were before I discovered the world of adult toys.

 My First Time - With A Toy

The thought of using an adult toy always interested me, but I was too embarrassed and too nervous to ever bring it up with my partner at the time. I kept thinking, “What will he think of me?”  I mean come on; we all know who actually uses these things, right?  Wrong!

 I was having lunch with a girlfriend when out of the blue she told me of her latest purchase…a vibrator.  I was shocked!  Here was MY friend, not someone who was freaky or weird, but someone who was responsible and had great morals, someone who was in a relationship.  She didn’t fit in to what or who I imagined using these toys.

 She totally opened my eyes to the endless possibilities.  She told me how her and her man actually bought it together in an adult store and how he couldn’t wait to use it on her that same night.  So, I decided that I was being rather shy for my personality, and I brought the subject up with my own man.  I asked him what he thought about buying a dildo, (I didn’t think I was ready for a vibrator just yet.)  Ladies, the look on his face told me that I had asked the right question!

 So we made our first purchase and we tried it out that afternoon…and again that evening.  It was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.  We must have used it every night for two weeks.  I didn’t think a little piece of plastic would bring us closer, but it did.  It gave us an opening to tell each other exactly what we wanted in the bedroom.  We were able to communicate with each other in a way we never had before, and still able to look each other in the eye the next morning.

 So ladies, and all you guys out there, using adult toys is nothing to feel embarrassed about.  It’s something that can open up your mind and show you a whole new side of yourself that you didn’t think existed. 

Have fun, enjoy your body to the fullest, trust me, you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy it sooner.
